If your a young lady as young as the age seven you have a possibility of getting sent to another noble family. There you will learn how to ride and how to dance. You would be considered to be there slave. When the women gets married its usually arranged and the man would consider you to be their "property" according to the laws. The land and money also goes to their husbands. When the marriages are arranged both of the families make sure they are getting a good deal for the marriage. The wives also, have to learn French. Which they learn when they are young and they also learn about the Code of Chivalry and Courtly love. These women don't just stay home they also, go out to jousting tournaments.
